The raiding progression is a bumpy road and makes for a bumpy ride. We tried changing our schedule a little last week since we seemed to have a lot more sign ups on Saturday but this week, it seems to be Friday that got the more sign ups and the best class balance so we tried Friday. But, we don't want to change days like that every week. So please let us know which day would be the best 3rd night of raiding for you. Click here!

Don't get the wrong idea, our progression is good. And we are super happy with the new recruits we got lately. The mix with the actual raiders and members seems to be going very well.

So keep bringing your A game and consummables, resist, etc, and we will be on Mimiron in no time!

PS: Since this week is the July 4th weekend, we are cancelling all 10 man for the week. Tuesday and Thursday raids are confirmed and the 3rd night of raiding will be on Monday. Historically, people get busy with family and unexpected activities over this weekend. If you want to do something, feel free to organize alts runs, Naxx or anything else (out of Ulduar 25 man of course). Thanks!

We got Hodir last week, some more achievements and learn that Thorim was a gear check on many aspect. We also welcomed a few new people in the guild! :-D

A short guild meeting conveyed a couple of important points:
- consummables: use them! Even if you think you have more than enough dps, make it a little more or use consummable to improve your survivability. If you do more dmg or requires less healing, either way you are helping the raid.
- gear: work on your gear! If you don't have a rating of at least 2200 (wow-heroes) or the equivalent of a full Naxx 25 man (item level 213+) than work on it. Your skill will only get you so far.
- strategies: we still have people showing up not knowing the fights and what their role is. Seriously, if you don't know what you should be doing on any vehicule of FL, that is not ok. If you don't know what is the strat for Thorim and what your role could be, that is not ok. You can't rely on Mink to tell you everything just before the fight. If you don't know where to look, ask your class lead PRIOR to the raid.
- sign ups: they are important for the RL and the class lead to be able to plan the raid and see in advance what challenges this specific raid will have given the players and the class balance. When you sign up 5 min before the raid, it does not help. So, starting this week, if you are signing up less than 3 hours before the raid, we are not going to assure you of your drafting priority.

The focus this week will be getting more at ease with Hodir and working on Thorim. Everyone should be working on getting 2 pieces of Frost Resist gear (belt and boots) and read about Thorim strategie. Also, start looking at Mimiron. We will start tackling his trash and him soon.

Thorim should be doable with a correct raid balance and appropriate gear level. Lets work on that!!
